2 1/2 öre, Avesta, Avesta, Karl XI, 1661
The 2 1/2 öre copper coin was minted for only one year in the history of Swedish coinage, and it was Karl XI who had it struck in 1661. The odd denomination is explained by the fact that 2 1/2 öre in copper at the time was equivalent to 1 öre in silver.
