Agricultural Society of Örebro made a commemorative medal over the agricultural reformer Olof Gabriel Hedengren.

In 1791, Sweden's first Agricultural Society was formed at the encouragement of King Gustav III. During the first half of the 19th century, Agricultural Societies continued to be formed in every county in Sweden. Their task was to work for the development of agriculture, horticulture, forestry and fishing. This makes the Agricultural Society Sweden's oldest organisation in the field of agriculture.

In 1877 the Agricultural Society of Örebro made a commemorative medal over the agricultural reformer Olof Gabriel Hedengren. On the front we see a portrait of Olof Gabriel and on the back a cornfield where people are working with the harvest.

The Agricultural Society of Örebro was formed in 1803 and is still active today
