50 öre, Stockholm, Gustaf VI Adolf, 1956
Gustav VI Adolf's first 50-öre coins have the same design as those issued in 1953 under King Gustav V. On the obverse (front) is a crown and on the reverse (back) is the denomination. The engraver is Leo Holmgren, who was employed as a coin engraver at the Stockholm Mint in 1944 and worked there until his retirement in 1974. This type of 50-öre coin was struck between 1952 and 1961.
