NJ. Ruuth Fältskärs Rakstuga, Funke,
The hairdressing profession started to take off in the mid-19th century. Inspired by fashion, men had increasingly started to have their hair and beards trimmed.
The fact that N.J. Ruuth Fältskärs & Rakstuga, which operated from 1878 to 1880 at Funkens gränd 3 in Stockholm, not only provided shaving services but also foot care is evident from the detailed illustrations on this paper token.
