The 50 öre coin from 1907 features King Oscar II's crowned name cipher OII, three crowns and the king's new motto ‘The Good of Sweden’, changed from ‘The Good of the Brethren’ after the dissolution of the union between Sweden and Norway in 1905. At the bottom we see the Royal Mint of Stockholm's mark, Sankt Erik, and the mintmaster Emil Brusewitz's initials EB. On the reverse, the denomination and year of minting are surrounded by a laurel wreath.
