2 kronor, Kongsberg, Oscar II, 1878
On the obverse (front) we see the King of Norway and Sweden, Oscar II, and on the reverse (back) the Norwegian coat of arms - a lion with a golden crown on its head and the axe of St Olav between its front paws. At the bottom, near the year 1878, we see two crossed hammers, which are the mint mark of the Mint of Kongsberg.
