1 daler silvermynt, Stockholm, Karl XII, 1717
This is what is known as an emergency coin with the inscription Wett och Wapen, which was issued in 1717. It shows a warrior in ancient armour. He is holding a sword and a shield with the three-crowned coat of arms.
The reverse (back) shows the denomination within a shield and a lion as the shield bearer. All around are escutcheons, banners and a cornucopia.
