It was already known in the 15th century that there was gold in the silver from Östra Silvberget, near Säter in Dalarna.
The gold ducats of Sweden’s King Adolf Fredrik from Östra Silverberget show the small round national coat of arms and the chain of the Order of the Seraphim. This ducat was struck in 1752, but bears the date 1751 to honour the king’s accession to the throne in that year. It is inscribed ÖSTRA SILFBERGET I KOPPARBERGS LÄN (Östra Silvberget in the county of Kopparberg).
This coin was struck in Stockholm and the engraver was Daniel Fehrman.
