10 kronor, Eskilstuna, Carl XVI Gustaf, 1991
This 10-krona coin features the left-facing portrait of King Carl XVI Gustaf together with the inscription showing his name and title as King of Sweden. Below the neck of the portrait is the initial of the engraver Marita Norin.
The other side shows the Swedish three crowns mixed with the denomination. Above it is the year of issue of the coin, 1991. On this side there is also the usual mint mark for the workshop in Eskilstuna (E) on the left, and also the then Governor of Riksbanken, the Swedish Central Bank, Bengt Dennis's initial (D) on the right.
The 10-krona coins were the only coins that did not become invalid in 2017. This coin is still legal tender in Sweden.
