1 krona, Stockholm, Gustaf V, 1942
This one-krona coin was issued in 1942 when Gustav V was King of Sweden. The coin is silver and weighs 7.53 grams. In addition to the king's portrait and title, the coin also features his motto: ‘WITH THE PEOPLE FOR THE FATHERLAND’. The large Swedish coat of arms under a crown is also engraved, surrounded by the chain of the Swedish Royal Order of Seraphim.
This one-krona coin was legal tender in Sweden until 2017, when it was withdrawn and replaced by newer coins.
