Dices, antler

Dice are common finds in excavations of medieval cities. People then were no less fond of playing games than we are today. Dice were used in different types of games, alone or in combination with other game pieces. Unfortunately, we do not know in which games these dice were used.

Game tokens and game pieces have also been found in Örebro. The dice in the stand are six-sided and made of horn. The sides are marked with one to six eyes in the form of circles.
