2 öre, Nyköping, Gustav II Adolf, 1627
Gustav II Adolf had ½ öre coins minted in Nyköping, Arboga and Säter. We can see that this coin was minted in Nyköping from its reverse side. The Södermanland coat of arms with a griffin is depicted together with the inscription ""MONETA NOVA CVPRE NICOPENSI"", which means that it is a new copper coin from Nyköping.
