25 öre, Stockholm, Gustaf V, 1940
During the First and Second World Wars, the 25-öre coins were struck in nickel instead of silver. The coins also differ in appearance from the usual silver 25-öre coins. On the obverse side, we see Gustav V's crowned name G V and on the reverse, the denomination is surrounded by two shears. The nickel coins were issued in 1921, 1940-1941 and 1946-1947.
