1/12 skilling, Avesta, Gustav IV Adolf, 1802

On the coin on display we see the crowned monogram of King Gustav IV Adolf together with the Swedish coat of arms, three crowns, which tells us who issued the coin and on behalf of which country. On the other side is the 1/12 skilling and 1802 together with the crossed arrows of Dalarna, which tells us the value of the coin, when it was made and where the copper came from.
