25 öre, Stockholm, Gustaf VI Adolf, 1956

Gustav VI Adolf's first 25 öre coins have the same design as those issued in 1953 under Gustav V. On the obverse (front) is a crown and on the reverse (back) is the denomination. The coin was minted at the Stockholm mint, as we can see from the mint's symbol, St Erik's head, to the left of ÖRE. The fact that Torsten Svensson was mintmaster, the head of the mint, can be seen to the right of ÖRE, where his mintmaster's mark TS is. This type of 25-öre coin was struck between 1952 and 1961.
