1 daler silvermynt, Stockholm, Karl XII, 1718
The “Flink och Färdig” emergency coin was issued in 1718, replacing the “Wett och Wapen” coin. It shows a warrior in ancient armour holding a lance and a sword. Behind the warrior is a lion, the symbol of power.
The denomination is indicated within a circle surrounded by escutcheons, flags and two crossed cannons. Carl Gustav Hartman and Zachris Hartwig Arensburg were the engravers of the coin, and it was produced at the Stockholm mint.
